Features Falcons done right?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by guiseart, Nov 20, 2005.

  1. I really like the overall look of your car, white letters, etc. I'd just remove the hub caps for something different; leave that back alley race car look, almost a sleeper look. Welcome to the HAMB!

Nice '61, fg! You got any larger pics? I'm building a '62 right now that will look similar when I'm done....:D

No problem! :D Funny how it can be a small world sometimes.

Hey Artie B, nice looking car! Any close up pictures of the top and the pinstripes?

The crossflow runs really sweet. I have another early Falcon with a 5.0 V8 in it which I love, but for the hassle involved, if I ever do another one, I'll go crossflow 6 again. Thing has plenty of pull, runs smooth and so far hasn't got above half on the temp dial :).
All that and I really only had to make very minor mods to have the thing mounted in there very nicely! On the lookout for a sedan-delivery, but I'm hopeful rather than confident I'll find one.....

I can't believe this thread is still going. I do love these little cars. Though they seem to be drying up lately.

Update on the 63 (6 cyl 3 speed last spring)
Put a 5.0 H.O. with a 5 speed in just before winter. Now its my favorite baby. I almost forgot what driving a car with some guts was like. Just have to get the 8" in before cruisin season starts

Unfortunately, it's not mine, just one I loved on eBay and stole the images from. I'm a picture whore.

64 plates! The visors were rotted and I had one - then got the other off e-bay. Somebody said johnny law may not approve, but no problems yet.

Really like your falcon and you have some very handsome children. What size are your wheels and tires?
