Here's my wife's new Falcon, '62 six with an auto, buckets, 48,000 miles. Bought it at BTT50's last week. and dove it home 400 miles.

Nowhere near as cool as some on this thread and a little too new but to keep it going here's my daily driver 69 futura. All stock with 72,000 miles and lowered 3 inches with a smithy glasspac, makes a great little driver.

wow... I started this thread in 2005. With all the views, pictures and replies, you can't tell me the Falcon isn't a popular car. I always heard them referred as the "orphan" of the Ford line - nobody liked them... this thread seems to disprove alot of that don't it?

Damn, now I want another one.

Do Comets qualify? My '64 is sort of like a Falcon's heavier older sister with braces. :D

27 Kid, Glad to see the old Falcon is still looking good. I sure miss that six cylinder with the price of gas lately. This is a great thread, shows what some creativity and an economy car can do. Keep them coming!

Kevin, I really dig this little car. It's been fun and frustrating putting it back on the road, haha.

    Looking good Gavin!

How did you do that? Did you use your falcon taillights?

I like this car, its not over done and the rear fender flares are nice. it maybe could use some steel wheels painted like the body but hey each his own.

They are Cadillac bullet tailights. The last owner of my car did the same mod but I dont know where you can get just the bullets, all I can find is the base and all but they look different for some reason.

you just remove the crome base and glue the bullet lens into the factory tailight...fits purfect or you can get rid of the factory len, make a mounting surface and use the whole caddy tail with the crome base like mine.

I have pictures of the green '62 Falcon that you like so well, but don't know how to post them on Falcons done right. Send me your email address and I will email them to you, and you can post them or tell us how to post them.

    Thanks,

I have posted the photos of the '62 Custom Falcon in an album on my profile. Click on Falconeer profile and look for the album to see the photos. Someone please tell us how to post the photos directly to Falcons done right.

    Thanks,
    Butch Evans (Falconeer)
