Haven't done it as yet so I thought I would do it. Here are pictures of my other two Birds: 65 Sedan Delivery, 289 V8, C4 auto, custom seats and door panels; and 65 2Dr Wagon, 5.0 HO EFI, 5spd (out of a 91 Mustang) custom interior, door panels and seats. Check'm out. I did the door panels myself.

Wheel Vintiques makes a steel wheel in the 4-lug Falcon pattern? Do they fit the old "bottle cap" hubcap?

Here's my 61 Falcon Gasser. I got the car from a gentleman in IL. He told me the car had been a gasser for some time. He took the car in a trade. He told me the car was painted black with the name "Dominatrix" in gold leaf. The car was owned by a man named Lawrence Shepard also from Kalamazoo, MI. The car ran under the "Washburn Speed Shop" banner. He told me the car was a class winner and record holder at tracks in MI like Milan Dragway. The car is very well built with a full steel tilt front hood. The hood has been molded into one piece. The car has a full box 2 X 4 tubing frame, 9" rear, I-beam front axle, Cragar fronts, Chrome reverse rears with slicks. The engine is set back about 10 degrees. The dash is also set back. The car still had the stock full tank. Also the master on/off battery switch is located on the inside firewall under the dash. I'm building a 408 Windsor with a C4. I've replaced all of the leaf springs and rebuilt the brakes and just finshed a push bar. I had to replace the steam pipe roll bar with a CM 10 point.
If anyone has any information about this car I would would love to know.

I hope not to have them boring, has but of 200 photos of this event. If it does not bother estare raising but photos later to them. I ask to them the moderators if it is necessary to drain the photos that inform it to me, which less I want is to bother. Thanks to offer a place to be able to show our vehicles us.

    Kerfer,
Hey,just curious,is your ranchero an orig. v-8truck? I see the 5 lug susp. but yet it still has a 6 cyl in it.You wont regret the transplant. I`ve had two rancheros with v-8s in them. One 65 with a hopped up 289 & one with a 5-0 efi . They are a blast to drive.

it is originally a 6 truck but someone along the line changed the axle and front end to the rare 63 v8 five lug setup. i was told this from a falcon collector. but i still will want to change the front to disks as they are drums now and dont stop well at all. the rear end is a whole nother story. the center is 8 inch with the original early falcon axle tubes and 5 lug axles. go figure, and trying to find u joints was all sorts of fun because the rear one was not a regular ford item it ended up being a chevy peice  also did anyone notice that the v8 block is a chevy? hehe it is a 65 327 block actually should be interesting

    Karfer,
Sounds like you have an orig. 63v8 rear end.Someone may have changed the center section. Any 8" center section will work as long as it is 28 spline.Or you can change the rear Yoke. All ways put in a new pinon seal at this time.

    Karfer,
Forget to mention, if you did the pin striping then you did one hell of a good job.
I am also looking for a 60-63 Ranchero_One with a real good body.Hopefuly rust free, bondo free,no prev.wreck damage.Would like to find one like yours that has had the v-8 susp.allready done.
Or a 60-62 2dr sedan in the same cond. Bubble back glass.
If you run a cross anything like this, let me know, please.

    THANKS

yes i did all the striping and thank you i know it is a lot but i wanted it like that i guess. i got lucky finding this one it was in decent condition and had the 200 swap already done with an electronic dizzy. all i had to do was go through the car and correct the previous owner's mistakes then i have started to play around with it. actually when i bought the truck it had moon wheel covers and it was not until i decided to go with out the caps that i found out it was converted to 5 lug. i see you are in NC i am in CA but if you are real serious they can be had out in this area for cheap still in good condition. just look at the bay area and sacramento craigs list.
