yes i did all the striping and thank you i know it is a lot but i wanted it like that i guess. i got lucky finding this one it was in decent condition and had the 200 swap already done with an electronic dizzy. all i had to do was go through the car and correct the previous owner's mistakes then i have started to play around with it. actually when i bought the truck it had moon wheel covers and it was not until i decided to go with out the caps that i found out it was converted to 5 lug. i see you are in NC i am in CA but if you are real serious they can be had out in this area for cheap still in good condition. just look at the bay area and sacramento craigs list.

Falcons make bitchin' race cars. The first two are my Pop's '63 Hardtop with a '60 front clip. '60/'61s had that cool rollpan behind the bumper. It's a shame to hide it. The next three are my '61 Sedan Delivery. I have more pics to scan. Will do soon.

The last pic: CA requires a front bumper. So a couple of forming stakes, heat wrench, a pair of chopped bumper brackets... weld weld weld... Bumper. Tah Dah!!!

Here is my 63 sprint convert. It has a EFI 5.0 HO with a cobra intake, toploader 4 speed, 15/16 inch torque thrusters, and narrowed 8 inch rear. I bought this car in boxes 15 years ago. It was a drag car out of the Detroit area from day 1. It was tubbed and heavily modified. I un-tubbed it and initially built it bone stock with a 260/T10, stock wheels, etc. It was really boring. It didn't take long for me to realize that I needed to modify this car and I have not looked back since.

Any sugestions on a rear end for a 64 with a sbf ? As in what type of rear end from what year vehicle would bolt right in there ? Looking to start on the rear end on my falcon and haven't had any luck on a v8 donor. My car was originally a I6.

Nice, KM! I'm gonna do something similar to my '61 wagon...kind of a "nerf bar" type separate-bumper idea....:)

Here is a pretty cool circuit racer from the early '70s. Campained by a bloke by the name of Gene Cook. We love our Touring Car racing down here!

These are a couple of my former Falcons. I would love to get the wagon back!
Sold it to a Ford guy in Washington state in a moment of need, back in 2000.
Anybody know who has it now?

Sold the Ranchero to a cute little landscaper gal in Seattle in '96

    Keep them coming.

Westside, would love to hear what that thing sounds like :)

I'm not sure that I understand Arlo's joke, as it is funny on three levels.

MUNCIE, I've got a Mevarick axle as well. Tucks 235/60's on steelies nicely into the factory wheelwells. Gotta watch though, the stub of the axle that locates the wheel is larger than the early mustang axles. Early steel wheels won't fit without a little help from the holesaw, or in my case the end-mill.

westside, damn. That thing is freaking sweet!
