hey poor boy jay, was that your falcon wagon that was in Hot Rod Deluxe when it first came out?? looks good either way
This car was at Gene Winfield's when I was there for paso.I walked around it and it is a really nice car.It was there with a blue pontiac I think they drove up for his cl***.
Wow I did not know someone made a visor. Does it fit correctly, like it was made for it? Love to find one.....
I'd say 70 to 80% of all the 60 to 66 early Falcons sold in Australia had a sunvisor fitted from the dealer before delivery ( genuine Ford part ) How many would you like ???
She sold it last summer We got it dialed in and she decided she liked being my co-pilot more than driving by herself to shows. Stock drivetrain, gloss black with silver flaked roof by crash haley, pinstriping on trunk and hood by Cisneros, cut coils up front and 3" blocks out back. I miss that little beast!
Here is my version, it's an aussie 64 with a later falcon inline 250ci 6 with rare factory 2v high performance head. I did all the work myself and it's my daily driver.
Our 63 last summer. All stock 6 banger 3 speed. Its in the barn now getting a '68 302 and C4 treatment for this summer.
here's my daily driver. original V8 car now has a mild 302 with an AOD. has garanada disc brake swap and drives like a champ!! handles just got shaved in december. next i need to fix the roof corners by the windshield cause its rotted out and fix the rear wheel wells a previous owner hacked up the inner lip and its all messed up. i may radius them and louver the the tailgate get it ready for a nice and simple panel paint job, watson style!!!!
Here's my Ranchero. Pretty much bought it this way, but I'm switching to 5-lug pretty soon and putting it on air. Just bought a Toyota rear end -- two inches narrower than stock so I should be able to fit a decent wheel under there. I know, bad photo, and I'm a photographer so it doubly ****s.
Here is my '63 Ranchero. The engine is a carbed 5.0 with a T-5-5 speed. The rearend is a narrowed 8.8 Ford. The steering wheel is a Schroeder sprint car wheel.
Haahaa... this thread keeps going, and going, and going. Nice Falcons kids, keep up the good work. I started this thread last year when I bought mine, now another HAMBer has it, thrashing on it some more... how funny.
Moon Saturn discs. Got them at Pomona, was gonna just run the smooth discs, but they were trying to sell some old stock I guess. Got 5 for $40.
Yes, they are 14s. The rims behind them are chrome with holes, nasty if you ask me, and the front tires rub on corners. I'm gonna try a set of stock early Mustang rims til I get the 5 lug conversion, but that'll be awhile. Heres a pic when i got her...
Don't know if everyone will agree this is done right, but here's mine so far. Grandma's 64 with 170 in it. Lowered 3 inches and added Comet brakes up front. Maybe next winter it will get a v-8. The other pic is a photoshop of what I'd like it to look like when it's done.
When I was younger I saw falcons all over the place...! l have been seeing them more and more...1964 sprint Conv..289 two speed, wht/red..... p*** the schlitz*%*%^# here comes another one flying by! BSB
