It's a SBF. Just a mock up for the sake of a picture with an early style timing cover, no water pump

The intake came from Pomona about 10 years ago, waaayyyy before they became popular (and expensive) again. It was the catalyst for the whole car, really. Been casually collecting parts to do an early Falcon ever since, when they were available and the price was right. Finally picked up the car a little over a year ago, after it slipped through my fingers two times before. Figured I wouldn't get a third chance. Funny thing is, now I'm not even sure if I'm going to use the intake, really leaning toward a tunnel ram that is sitting next to it on the shelf. I know the cross ram has the 'wow' factor, but I also know the tunnel ram will work much better.

The crossram would be neat for a Trans Am style build. I don't think I've ever seen one for an SBF before.

do you happen to have any pictures? just want to get a look at the stance, was thinking of doing blocks, and cutting coils on my 65, but not sure how much to take out. also, where's a good place to look for a 5 lug swap? pretty new to the scene, and all i'm finding are high dollar brake conversions. thanks for the inspiration! cars look killer

This one hasn’t made it into this thread yet, but it belongs to HAMBster H3O and it deserves to be here.

I like it, looks good and the cross ram manifold will be a neat conversation point when you pop the hood.

Thanks. I agree the cross-ram would be eye candy, and I will probably try it, but I am really leaning toward the tunnel ram. They just flat work, but the cross-rams don't seem to work well.

Plus, I revisited "Two Lane Blacktop" lately, and grey primer and a tunnel ram just seems "right" again.
