holy **** Munster!!! your chopped down sedan is rad, but your ranchero rules!!!! 4 lug Cragars!! awesome! how'd you get your so low???
thanks eric! i found the cragars years ago at pomona swap for $80 for all 4. cut 2 coils in the front and 2" blocks in the back. i think the rear leafs are just worn out.
I'm running front buckets from a 64 Mustang. I used the tracks from the Falcon and had to drill two of the four holes in the seat to make them work.
BEBO, I could be mistaken but I think that 64 to 66 Mustang stuff should bolt right in. The Mustang seat boxes on the floor may be higher, though. Are you missing seats or looking for different?
What an awesome thread! Was under the impression Falcons were a bit forgotten in the US other than the Mustang-type "paint-daub" fans. Love seeing some rodded examples. Here's a couple of pics of my daily driver 64 XM coupe. Injected 5.0 & 5sp-man......
Also, here's the current project, soon to be daily driver. 65 XP wagon with 4.1liter (250) alloy-head crossflow 6 & auto. All the running gear swiped from a '84 Falcon inc brakes etc.... Got to pull the finger out & get this finished as I've promised myself no surfing till it's done. Might have underestimated the time left though when I made that call!
I havent got one, but i always loved the 63 falcon..I think since i was like 13 or so. Some really great cars on here..sweet. definetly brought back memories!
Kick *** thread.....I've always like those little ****s.....I had a 1964 Sprint in the late 80's with a bench seat, 4 spd. & Holman/Moody SBF running little small skinnies..... I wish I still had that ride... Paco
warren 1328... They are alive and well in the US that's a sweet cross flow project. I'm building pretty much the same thing here except mine is a 62 with an OHC motor and four barrel intake. Yours is quite a bit farther along, though Great work
Here's some more shots of Chris' Falcon. It went down road like a dream after we put the new front end and rear springs in it.
I finally have my Falcon back on the road,,,,this car belonged to my daughter but she wanted something newer,,,,,so dear ol' dad has this thing for cars and he coughs up the cash for a newer ride and gets the ***le to the ****,,, The car is pretty much stock with 13's front and rear but with a little rubber rake,,,,260 w/t 3 on the tree and is old enough to smoke a little but man this little car still has a lotta get up and go,,,the body is solid and sports the original paint,,,the interior is old, torn and faded. Who knows what the future has in store for the ****,,,but I do have a 4-speed in the shop,,,,maybe some ol' 5 spokes,,,an raise it up a bit,,,no stright axle g***er type just the old 60's street fighter look,, But for the time being i'm just having fun with it,,,,HRP
There is some great stuff here. in the '80's, when I lived in Calgary there was a 2dr wagon, looked like a '63 or so. It was medium blue with a dropped straight axle, Cragars & 427 badges on the front fenders. It looked pure wicked. Does anybody know the car?
ok here are some pics of my dads 64 sprint ..it only took us 5 yrs to complete and is a natational falcon club winner...
yeah when we are at cruise ins we put ice cubes on the wheels and everybody thinks that the dog is taking a piss...hahaha
