We will be there Wednesday set up at ND42 with the normal stuff. Tail lights,Lenses Model A stuff odds and ends and I am bringing a neat barn fresh 49 Crosley. Stop by and say Hi if your in the north field.
This will be the first Fall Event I have not vended at in 12 years. Just getting fed up with the big expenses eating up the minimal profit....doing a 3 day rod run in Charleston WV this year that weekend....but I'll be back in the Spring event
I'll be there Wed-Sat in IA-29 and I will have mostly old Ford parts, flathead and suspension stuff, as well as a buddy of mine right next to me who will have some old stuff as well. Yes, Hershey is probably the better palce but there is stll plenty of old stuff at Spring and Fall Carlisle. For me, so much of these events are more for the social and seeing my buds from where I used to live and hanging out with them for a few days. I do sell alot of stuff when I have it, especially now that we have spots down in the infield.
Tom, I agree with you. I do very well at Carlisle spring and fall. I have the right stuff and it is priced for everyone to afford. I do like my North field spaces and would not trade them for any other spots on the grounds. In the spring I am just a few spaces down from the resturant on the main drag and in the fall I am on that same road tucked in the corner beside the plastic outhouse village and I get a lot of foot traffic. all in all I have met some wonderfull people from all over the country and have made many friends from all over the world that have become yearly customers. Hope to see all of you who came make the show.
