I thought I better post something about this event coming up on October 7th 2023. This event was founded as a Flathead reliability run with a challenge to see if the West side or the East side of our State would drive the most Flathead powered cars to event.

Over the years the cars from the East side that is East of the greater Wenatchee area stopped attending. So because we had so much room for cars we have opened the event up to .

We still get a lot of traditional cars ,which I prefer! I would like to see more Flatheads make the trip . So if you have a Traditional car or HAMB friendly car make my day and come on over for the cruise in.
It starts at 9 and is over by 2PM so you can cruise in visit and view ,maybe grab a lunch at the Hot Rod Cafe and still get home before dark.

I will be awarding a special award for my favorite Flathead powered car this year. I hope the mods don't throw this out because of the ot car.on the poster.

Damn, 300 miles...in the rain. It looks like the wet stuff starts to fall this next week and once it starts...Noah had nothing on the PNW. 40 days and nights? Pffft.

Well I agree that 300 miles is a long way to drive for cruise in. The rain will likely stop when you get 50 miles east of that wet coastal area though. But 50 miles of rain can make a mess all that fancy paint and chrome you have on your beautiful rides.

I would like to see your roadster or 40 pickup though.

That's one of my favorite's and they serve up some great burgers in the Hot Rod Cafe. This year I am headed down 97 59.5 miles to the Maryhill Museum for the Concours de Maryhill. A pretty laid back show that features the Soverin cars that race up the old Maryhill road on Sunday the 8th. Two of my favorite events on the same day always makes it tough.
