My wife laughed when I told her I need an old lady grocery cart. Sent from my SM-N910V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
.................We used to sell 'em in the grocery stores. In the trade we referred to them as "two-wheeled Cadillacs".
Hershey IS too big. I can’t possibly sell everything I take AND get around to see/buy everything for sale. It SHOULD be expanded to 2 weeks. I’ll sleep in my vendor spaces and bathe only when absolutely necessary. Yeah, that will fix it. When your feet are barking and you need to take a rest, stop and see us at GAI 18-19. We’ll be there selling 1939-46 Chevy/GMC parts.
Amen. I've seen it estimated, several years ago, that the average attendee has $5K. I am surely then not average, but I am ready to spend on a good deal. As a newly retired friend often says, "what's money to a guy like me?".
Ok, This year will be 49 in a row for me at Hershey, and there has NEVER been a bad year. Gone with lots of money and almost no money, but sold enough to buy what I wanted and cover expenses. You go to have a good time. Same spots as in years past C4J-39-42 with other HAMB members close by. DO NOT bother going to your car or truck with stuff you buy, find a vendor that will store it for you till evening pickup, why loose buying time going to your vehicle. Buy stuff when you see it, someone else will buy it before you get back, or you'll forget were the spot was. Buy a program! Note that every light pole has a number, use that to note spots you plan to return to. There are ATM's on the field. We'll have wagons and carts for sale, grandson is six and a future Wheeler Dealer.
