I got these pictures from my grandma, who let me take a bunch of old family photos when I was a kid, and mostly what I took was pictures with old cars in them. Unfortunately I don't know who most of these people are or what their story was, me as a kid, I was just interested in pictures of old cars. I'm fairly sure this is my Grandma with one of her Pontiacs. And undoubtedly my great grandmother is in at least one of these but I'm not sure which. I might show these to my dad and see if he can identify the people in them.
My Grandfather, Great Grandmother, My Uncle and my Mum in Grampa's 1919 Gray Dort. I saw this very car in Great Grampa's barn when I was 10. Told my Dad I wanted it...... I think it went to the bone yard after they left the farm.
I own the American version of this car.....1919 Dort. It's getting a little modern updating....... All the pictures were taking with Granma's Kodac $1 box camera which I now own.
Squawblow I can't help but think with the last pic these days when your in the doghouse its really not a good thing but back then it was alright. I remember doing the same when a wee young whipper snapper. Ahh the good ole days...
I know these are backwards , no one in my family cared about cars. these are pics of my son who is now 40. The boy on the front tire of the 34 is my late nephew.
All 4 boys in my family are still car guys, these shots were taken between 1957 and 1960. 1st shot is the oldest member Jerry, the Stude had a full-house 283 with 4 Stromberg 48's. He will soon be strapping in his OT '90 T-Bird at "Speedweek", shooting for 300, he has been 277. Next is Dave with his '37, he owned 4 different 40 Fords, and is still building off-road stuff. Then there is Tom, with his highly customized '40 Ford Convert. He currently drives a Model T pickup that he hand built from scratch, with an aluminum cab. Lastly, there is me, getting ready to do some "Downhill Racing", and I am still building racing roadsters today.
My brother and sister. Again, before I came along in 69. I believe that's my Dads 59 or 60 Ford truck

Bzzzt! Wrong, but thanks for playing..... Since your the first and only one to guess, I'll give it up: U.S. Army Gun, Heavy, Motorized, 280MM, M65 Also known as "Atomic Annie" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M65_atomic_cannon The gun itself is in the travel position with the tube retracted. The carriage is off of the front and rear transport tractors and it's on the ground. I'll add some more pics here later.
These were prolly taken at Grafenwoehr. I dunno who this PFC is with the M42 Duster but it's a cool pic: Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Grandma and some employees from their bakery, dressed for a parade in Soquel, 1959 or 60. The truck is a 1925 Dodge Brothers that Grandad was working on.
Dad's Chevy powered 51 Ford. The tired old flathead wouldn't work hard enough so he planted what he could afford and find at the time, which happened to be a warmed over 283 with a 350 trans. I remember a few uncles showing up one day and they all converted my swing set to an engine hoist despite my objections. They got it all done on a perfect fall Saturday. It would take me a month of Saturday's to do the same . Pic circa 1977. Engine swap about 1975 This pic was taken on a Sunday afternoon. Got a full view of the truck, a snippet of the Cyclone and my Grandmother's brand new 77 T-Bird in the foreground. All gathering for lunch at "Mawmaw Syb's" house. Miss those days and that food!

Here are a couple of photos of the auto garage next door to where I grew up in Wood River Junction, Rhode Island: Left to Right - Con Guthrie, Ollie Dyson, John Dumalow & Earl Holmes c1942 Ollie Dyson c1941 Those four guys were my Dad's buddies before he went into the Navy and afterwards, until we moved to Arizona in the 1950s. Obviously a statement of simpler times . . .
My brother (MO JUNK) standing and I (WZ JUNK) seated with our first go kart. I often tell that we have been racing each other for over 60 years. We started by pushing cars across the living room floor. We have a lifetime of automotive adventures. John
