We went to a burn out contest in June 09, got him some ear muff protectors then. He freaked out at all the noise and smoke - 'Grandpa, I gotta go' - his mother rescued him. Being a little older, hopefully he will be able to handle Fomosa and his parents will be there too.

i will be heading down that friday after work. probably leave my house around 6. it takes me about 4 hours to get there. maybe a little longer in the wagon. hopefully all goes well. this will be the first long trip since i got it back on the road.
well i just booked my room finally tonight. i probably should have done it sooner so i could have got a place closer, but oh well. where is everyone else staying. i got my room at a motel 6 off highway 5. it works for me since i will be coming down that way.

Well....We just fired the motor in my Dart and all looks well...so now gotta throw 6 tires on the trailer and get there....I'll be running in HOT ROD like always and it's easy to find me and my Dad...just look for the (2) 68 White Dodge Darts......or the flashing string of lights in the sky...thats our pit...usually at the end of the swap meet.....I'll have my altered in the swap meet for sale..... Altered I'm selling.....
40 AAFCs and 20 AAFD along with a swap meet and cackle cars that is amazing, and youae saying it isnt that good??. You guys in California are way to spoiled. I flew out last year and had the best time at a drag race in my life. Cant make it this year due to work requirements. Maybe it should all be moved to the Midwest were we would have a little more appreciation for a race like this.
I've been racing at the March Meet since 1991......if your not havin FUN....there is no hope for humanity.... There is no way I could be a spectator at this "EVENT"...hell THE EVENT !!!!!!!!!
Coming from a true Bakersfield-ian here, the OILDALE-BLACK-FOOT TRIBE has to be the hottest in the Valley. Pure sexy.
