Famous old racecar is getting a tidy-up

    At the risk of derailing this thread for a post or two, where did that flathead engine stand come from? Looks a lot nicer than any I've seen advertised.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but that looks like an old KR Wilson engine stand.

    I've also heard that Ford made some Flathead V8 engine stands that came with all the tools you'd need to rebuild one. My friend claims to have one stashed away but I've never seen it. [​IMG]

    All these years later, The pacers 807 Roadster back out Making appearances at some local car shows. It will be on display May 18th of this year. At the Petaluma salute to american graffiti car show.
