Fitted a shroud to my 289 falcon and it helped a bit with cooling. My 53 runs fairly warm wondered whether it's worth making one for that too?
    Thanks

Oh snap... that is cool. I'm considering a Mustang radiator for my car and that shroud might be good. Beats cutting one out of tin stock and riveting it all together.

I was going for the tin option!

A shroud always helps air flow. With no shroud the fan just blow air around the engine compartment at low speed and doesn't really **** air through the radiator.

I used to make them for my stock cars out of relatively light aluminum. In case of a crash I wouldn't lose the fan or have it push into the radiator.
