My 36 gets a little warm in the summer when i get caught in traffic......so i put a 10 inch pusher fan on it last summer when i had the front sheet metal off to replace the engine. I just hooked it up to a extra switch on the bottom of the dash....it helped a bunch. So i have been thinkin (oh hell watch out!!!!!) i only have about 1/2 inch between the rad and the puller fan so when i have to go into it for... say a water pump... a 30 minute job is going to take all damn day (take off the hood...pull the grill...pull the rad and so on). Any of ya'll had any luck using JUST a pusher fan? The 350 is a 330 horse crate nothin fancy but it halls me and the coupe around pretty good. The 10 inch is all i could get to fit because my AC coil is in front of the rad also. I put the 10 inch at the top... so i could maybe get a 8 inch at the bottom to help. What do ya'll think? Any ideas or info would really be helpful. If it wasn't for mantinence i probably wouldn't mess with it. Thank/s guys, 36bootlegger

Pusher fans are only 50% as effective as manual pullers/
Keep your puller, its worth the headache of removing the front end to get at the engine..

Puller, and if you have an auto tran's, use a separate cooler for it.

Sounds like you want an electric fan. Be honest with yourself... how often have you been in there to do a water pump? How often do you plan on being in there?

If you want it... do it...
But don't spend money and time trying to save time.

I have both, but this year I think I am going to drop the pusher and replace the puller with a new Cooling Components fan and shroud unit. Current system gets a little warm (about 200- 225) when sitting in traffic, but have never had a major problem. Hoping the new unit will be even better.
