I am really excited to see this thing done... This thing is gonna look tits...and crazy out in the sunlight! Thanks for the update! Keep 'em coming... Todd
It don't always rain, just most of the time, but its' always sunny here in Wales, even at night! Nick.
Great project, I am enjoying the details, can't wait to see the finished product. Nice work to you and your team.
Hey Paul, what the hell does your wife know any ways...I don't care what she say's, I think that red Kandy is bitchin'...haha That's going to look soooo awesome with the silver scallops!! Lookin fantastic, keep the updates coming, please!
Haven't checked the thread in awhile- wicked! I'll take a shot in the dark and guess that you probably won't see another one like it rolling down the street...
Hey Paul! I was at jims all day yestarday, and the inside of the truck is lookin' damn cool! Love the red flake dash!
Went back down to Royal Kustoms today and decided to have another go at laying the scallops (my head, Jim's hands) as after staring at the first attempt for a couple of weeks, I figured we could do better. Here's a couple of shots of the end result with apologies for the faint stripes and picture quality, but there was only white tape knocking around.I've tried to soften the angles a bit so they flow better with the body lines. Be interested to find out if you guys prefer these or my previous attempt. And I just had to put this in as the phone makes me grin! It's gonna work too (sorta). Later Paul
Paul, Theres a phone that looks like that that plugs into a normal mobile, seen 'em on a thread on here not that long ago!The Scallops look Fuckin' GREAT, Im a BIG fan of the heavily Scallop'd look. Nick.
i'm not a fan of scallops either, i'd rather see it in (lace) panels. scallops tend to break up the overall shape and that ones got a nice shape...
I like it, but the tape line that goes down the length of the hood, past and across the cowl, and down the door might look better if it followed evenly along the fender line rather than straight back horizontally...more like the tape line over the rear fender? Could also use this to move the scallops a bit further forward to open up the area between the rearward/forward facing scallops... The forward facing scallops are going to be crazy...though I would be a bit concerned about the "maze" that may appear after the contrast from the colors... Can't wait to see this come along!! BRT...
I've always wanted scallops, and lace is a little erm,...'late' for the effect I'm going for. But, so is flake I s'pose........ Aw, whatever, I just like it is all. She's not going to be period perfect, just traditionaly inspired. Paul
