    My main man Jim decided to have a day off from being covered in flake, and surprised me by fitting my shifter and dash knobs instead. Here's a few shots;

    The F100 dash is lookin' bloody marvellous, the phone just adds that OTT touch that any '60's show car needs,Hands free my Arse!

  3. That candy red is looking gorgeous. I am going with scallops on my panel truck as well, but mine will be a little more subtle (gloss black scallops over satin black).

    As to whether the forward facing scallops work or not is immaterial, it is your vision after all. I may try them on my truck, will have to experiment.

    By the way Mick Cadman is now a dad. A lovely llittle girl called Lilly Mai. I was a bit worried when he told me she had his hands (shovels?!).

    Got back from Royal Kustoms to find I now have a finished one piece tailgate on the Kart,Jim even radiused the corners.With the help of some rather HAMB unfriendly gas struts she'll open remotely,so the back end can stay as klean as it looks now;

    klick on this;

    And with the help of some 4mm bead and some lead,the door gap after removing the driprail has gone from this;

    Very nice and creative work, the absolute best part is that the creativity has purpose. I like it.

    Here's a few gold accents to tie in with the grille mesh and gold pinstriping around the scallops;

    Thats looking killer mate, can't wait to see it in the flesh.

    I spoke to Jim pretty late last night on the phone and he said that he was pulling out all the stops to get the panel done for you, it was a brief chat as he was in between coats of candy.

    Paul.
