Great work Jim, your gonna have a way Kool Kustom panel there Paul , keep the photos coming , it looks excellent , nice subtle color to go with the subtle body mods
Down with Jim & Julie at Royal Kustoms earlier for final mask off before shooting Kandy tonite or tommorrow nite(depending on how long it takes to get the shop sterilized).I decided not to add any reverse scallops on the sides(just two on the hood)as I figure the only non flake paint on the whole damn thing being the gold pinstripes around the scallops means it'll be plenty loud enough without overcomplicating the pattern. Lets see; 1-silver & gold metalflake truck-check 2-flake flatted back-check 3-scallops masked out-check 4-nine quarts red kandy-check 5-Jim and a spraygun-check in best Joey Ramone tradition; 1,2,3,4. . . . .
Exactly...that makes two of us! I'm glad you decided to go without the reverse scallops, I thought it was too busy in the earlier post when you had it taped off, now it looks perfect! Now get us those new update pics!!!...please!
Errr, is it just me or have all he 'to's and 'the's gone red? Why is this? Sorry, was just me, just made a prime idiot of myself...
Well I finally picked her up in time for The Hot Rod Hayride and barring a few finishing touches she's done. I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread for their encouragement, enthusiasm and suggestions. I'll also be posting a seperate thread to thank all those involved with the transformation. Hope you dig it;
To cool dude I did the cripple creek trip and thanks to swimming and 50+ years of healing I am back on a my legs. I never walk a straight line but that would not be colourful to say the least.
Dig it? That's turned out fucking awesome Paul! I've got a mad week this week but I'll tap you up soon to come and have a look...
Cooler than a penguins nuts! Is it my imagination or was the phone silver metalflake before? And what is written on the dash?
