gear jammer had a carbed flathead powered rail that ran 10.38's back in the 80's. somewhere there's a pic of me sitting in it when I was about 6 lol.

I wanna say it was over 320 cubes too. was a BIG motor.

I hope to have my AA/FD done and tested soon (6 weeks) SHOULD run low sixes/high fives at 230 to 250. Crowerglide will be the pilot. I will be learning the ways of the ***** godess nitro from my very experienced crew chief.
I have gone 130 mph in the eighth mile when I had my Falcon.... I was sideways in the middle of a complete 360 when I went through the traps...large pucker factor.

I would be willing to bet that Crowerglide has the fastest ET and mph of registered HAMBers- unless you count Tony Pedregon :)

I saw where Bardahl posted he had been over 300 in a modern TF car and 298 upside down(!) so maybe second or third place for me? My best was a 5.62/250 mph about 26 years ago.

Lemme guess, you got the speeding tickets north of San Antonio around Live Oak? That place is notorious for speed traps.

And 218 ain't too damn shabby if you ask me.
