You going to GG next weekend, Flamer was telling me about some big show near by that happens on Friday night, Whats the info on it.. I am going ot be coming up on Thur and thought it there was something going on I could check it out..

 

not fat*** but i hope i'll do. i think you are refering to the oakboro cruise. small town cruise with alot of cars last friday of most months i believe. i gotta work friday night at the shop so i ain't making it. hope to have the buick running at least good enough to drive to GG sat and/or sun since the plymouth isn't nearly done yet. decided since i wasn't making GG i may do a few more things i was contemplating such as a slight peak to the hood and fenders and a few other little things too. anyhow i think oakboro is fairly close to the area so yeah you should check it out on friday...ken....

That's the ticket. I'm going to try to make it up there (Oakboro) at around 2-3pm Friday and hang out for awhile, then head home, get drunk and head up to GG on Saturday morning around 7am to hang out in the Purple Sungl***es Pontiac road tour.

 

hey mike and anyone else going to the oakboro thing. if your looking to make a day of it on friday. you know that those two yards in denton are only about 30 minutes away. i went to both of today, but may be going back. got the trim for the plymouth, missed a set of packard lights. still spent to much money for a week with a big car show. oh well being happy and broke is ok i guess. i seem to be getting a few bigger pieces for the plymouth the last couple weeks so i guess it's cool...ken....

 

Yeah, I've spent just a little too much on those two boneyards, Ken...they know me on sight for sure.

Looks like some of the guys from Raleigh and Winston are gonna come down early Friday and we'll head to Oakboro around 2:30 or so. I should be ******* blood and have a hell of a headache after an hour in the Ford. Wahoo.

 

so fat*** you definately doin' the oakboro deal? I'd almost decided not to go cos I figured I'd just be hanging out solo again, and I'm getting sick of myself. Flaking the roof on the poncho tomorrow so Maybe it'll be able to make it if all the wetsanding and buffing is done by then, doubtful, but maybe.
