My 13 year old son Billy chose a 51 Styleline Special for a custom project. It's my/our first project, so we humbly join your tremendous hot rod collective brain trust. Figure it'll be a long time before we give more than we take from ya'll, so thanks in advance for opening yourselves up to us neophytes.
We're about 3/4 through disassembly. Will go with small block V8 since Clifford's and Langdon's 6-cyl performance upgrades won't work on the 216. Currently researching different drivetrain, have learned plenty by lurking here over the past week.
    Thanks for having us!

I think father and son projects are a great way to further that relationship. Some of my fondest memories are building my first car with my dad starting when I was 12. Too many dads are too busy these days to spend that time. I applaud you for taking on the task. By the way, my 52 has had quite a few updates if you ever have questions and I probably have some spare parts lying around. Welcome!
