My folks are in town so my old man( he's 76) and me had some bonding time yesterday, first he let me drive his CLK 320 Mercedes all around town, super nice, then we ate lunch at Dan's, awesome as always, and sat and talked cars, my dad has had allot of cars, so we get around to talking about his '41 Lincoln Continental, and he thought I might be time to get it out here, if I can make room in my garage! Hell I doubt it will fit in a regular sized garage but I'll figure out something!

So we walk outside and there in the lot is a '56 MkII, Beige, Long, Lean and for sale! I can't afford it! They made like what 3000? What gets me is, here is this peice of history and we seemed to be the only ones checking it out.....anyway I hope it falls into the right hands, nice driver, small pock marks in the usual spots and the hood was out of line, but damn I'm nit pickin!

Any of you guys know this car?

I took it as a sign from the Lincoln Conti. gods that the '41 should be in my garage this summer! I just hope the old man remembers he said I could have it!
