History Father's Day Tribute

Hey Lynn, can't imagine how hard it is for you to read these stories about fathers when you had yours for such a short time. Appreciate you sharing even though it must be hard.

 

Like that this post comes back every year. My grandfather was a role model and he was gone by the time I was 17. I tried to see my grandparents at least a few times a month, he was the only one in the family that was mechanical. I wish I would have known more about his life, asked more questions, learned more from him.....stupid kid. LARS was on the exact day he p***ed away in the 80s (Friday June 13th), still miss both my grandparents.

Thanks, flathead60 the last I knew of the Dwight Bond sedan it was for sale at a local swap meet years ago, I'll see what info. I can find on its where abouts.

 

Already loving seeing everyone’s tributes, what a great way to gift the dad who laid the foundation for our love of hot rods. My dad was a true gearhead, and I’ve got a few stories and photos I’ll be posting soon.
