  1. Both my girls, ages 5 and 2, LOVE old car stuff. I've had to coach them a few times about what is and isn't safe to touch (even the 2yo can reach in and almost touch both terminals on the battery) - it's all about keeping them fascinated with the mechanical and breathing life into that spark of curiosity. I used to teach, and have seen 4th graders that have had that natural fascination with the world stomped out of them.

    A pat on the back to all us parents fostering a love of cool old car-stuff with our kids!

    Mine, she loves to go to shows but still has to get her hands dirty.

    I have alot of pics of my son helping me build old rods. My daughter is helping me on my old panel. Heres a pic of her welding on my chop job. [​IMG]
    She has been so excited learning, and this has been priceless time for us both. Im loving it!

    & she's been able to run my MM210 since she was 9 (she's now 12)
