Now that I have put some miles on my 55 I am pleased with everything except how it drives. At 75 mph it is a dream but around town the steering [Fatman Rack] is vague and it takes far too much input going into a curve. There is a dog leg curve close to my house and it is scary to take in the 55. The alignment specs are 3/4 degree neg camber on drivers and 1/2 on p***., 2 3/4 degree caster[ max available] and 1/16" toe in. I am about ready to pull the rack and get a Borgenson . Any one have any experience with this rack setup?

A lot of those are based on the Cavalier racks so you may not gain anything by changing it. I live next to the corner of a cross street with the Cavalier daily driver we had I couldn't make a complete turn around without backing up to complete it I can do it in the '54 Ford and have room to spare. You might message this member the company he got his electric power steering set up also has rack conversions. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/conversations/add?to=Pheaton193

I have never heard anything good about Fatmans rack or diy Cavalier swaps.
