How could I forget Coby's Van!!!! That might be my favorite build in a long time. It's just a perfect piece automobile or not.

If you love customs, that's kind of like asking you to pick your favorite child. There was a metric ****-load of very significant customs there.

Rudy's Merc was beyond words. The take out T was awesome as well. Too many clean rides to pick just one.

Octopus' Garden! Just playing, Rudy's Black Merc hands down!

  12. 11 posts and not a single picture. Disappointing to those of us that didn't get to go...

  13. There's gotta be a dozen threads on the 1st and 2nd page regarding the GNR show with a ton of pics.

There are plenty of posts with pics Shawn.

Rudy and Paul's Merc is incredible. I applaud them for not popping the hood to display the fully dressed flatty, although it probably cost them a win.

Take out T is cool, but the guys are even cooler.

And my sleeper favorite was the 49 chevy built by Circle City and painted by Har****. Wowza!!!!

Well, here are some of my favorites. It's almost impossible to rank them though. For a young guy like me who has only seen a lot of these cars in crusty old magazines, this years GNRS was an absolute dream come true. I have gone every year for a long time, and this year was my favorite overall show.

My god, the colors on this thing were amazing. I almost ran into someone walking away from it because my head was still turned around looking at it.

Best looking hot rod imo. Amazing stance, very purposeful sinister look.

I don't think there's anything I can say anything that hasn't already been said. It looks way better in person than it does on Facebook, lol.

For historical importance and personal influence, this was tops! I was enamored for a very long time. I'm glad I have a patient wife that let me stare for a while.

I'm a ****er for the 70s and Dan Woods is the man.

The striping detail and overall display was mesmerizing. Very cool little truck.

But, this one was the absolute ruler for me. It did not disappoint from any angle or in any detail. I mean, the flathead block looked like it was made out of porcelain! Plus, my daughter loved it, lol.

If Rudy didnt win, its probably because he cared more about what the public came to see than what a few judges wanted to see.
Doesnt that make him the coolest person on the planet?

I think I speak for everyone, thank you sir.
Words literally fail when trying to describe that car.

Here's a few. I took way too many pics of this car. The rippled side pipes were a nice touch!
