Favorite car of all time

The Hirohata Merc

 

I have more than one.The Hirohata Merc,Mercury Charlies"Sweet Nadine".

 

The Bugatti is nice but....

for me this is it, oil leaks, lucas electrics, straight cut gears, etc.... but the body lines and ~140mph top end are still as seductive as they were in 1955

It's Dave Mocks(Davey Deuce). It started my love afair with 40 Fords when I was 10 and saw it featured in the 40 issue of Street Rodder. This will ALWAYS be my favorite 40!!!

 

ONE FAV! Wow....the best I can do is "a Traditional style street rod".

My first love as a car guy...a blue on blue 67, notch back Mustang that had 5 spoke Cragars on it, circa 1982. Still know that guy, still has the car!

 

My Dad had a all black 58 Chrysler 300 2dr. ht. that they got traded in at the Dodge dealer he worked at in 1967 on a new Dodge Charger. The 58 had 392 2X4's and 3 on the tree. Smoked my Uncle's new GTO like it wasn't even running and Dad never had it out of 2nd gear.
