I don't know if this has been done before, but thought it might be interesting to see what folks favorite drag car or cars are. Its tough picking but to name a few for me 1) Moneyham and Sharp 554 car 2) Jim Oddys Austin 3) Herrera Brothers Austin 4) Jungle Jims early Nova 5) Early Brutus GTO 6) Batto Crosley What can you all come up with? Pics would be good too!
The 554 coupe is one of the coolist ever! Also the Chitown Hustler when it was Farkonas Coil and Minnick. (spelling?)
I kind of like this one, but you'll have to use your imagination a little bit. I will have to knuckle down and get this old gas roadster back on the track.

Any of Ohio Georg's cars are good for me. For late model I really like his mustang but early his Willy's just makes it for me. I smile just thinking about it.
Any of Big John Mazmanian's cars. Ohio George's '33 Willys. And the Stone Woods and Cook Willys gassers.
Hugh Tucker's Roadster. Probably the baddest supercharged street roadster in the history of drag racing.
The gasser wars left an impression on me growing up too so any of these guys fit the bill in my book. This one also ran gas classes too.
Maynard Rupp's AA/FD Prussian Old Rumble Guts A/Gas(? AA) Jungle Jim - Anything The Pepper Mill - 6 cylinders of more than enough fun My buddy Brooke DeShaw and his 23T B/A Shakin All Over The Team Ridge Route Terrors Great thread love the old race cars with names that instantly bring back mostly fond memories.
The ones that left the earliest impressions on me are the ones I still like the best. A couple others left lasting impressions as well Gas Rhonda's Mustang - something about that car stirred my loins, and stil does Stone Woods & Cook Willys - Just so Bad Ass Skippers Critter Anglia - see above Greer Black & Prudome Dragster - Prettiest Dragster Ever Built Lloyd Mosher's Little Giant Killer and the Empi Inch Pincher - because VW powered cars shouldn't go that quick DynoDon's Pinto - it just looked so Nasty And of course the Blair's Anglia that i have owned for almost 20 years.
I agree with all of the cars mentioned in this thread, but I have to add a few more for good measure: Mike Sullivan's AA/Fuel Altered Fiat Topolino The Beach City Chevrolet Corvette (driven by Pat Foster and others) Mondello & Matsubara AA/Fuel Fiat Topolino The Burkholder Brothers AA/Fuel Fiat Topolino
The 'Stone, Woods, and Cookie' and 'Filthy Forty' Willys come to my mind first... If I had the scratch I'd have a nostalgia '40 Willys coupe drag car... those are the tops!!
any awb mopar any sox and martin car dick landys cars from 64-71 any 40-41 willys and ohio georges 33 willys
