most of m stuff is non HAMB friendly but the 240Z with a 413" SBC running brodix heads. and a dry sump oil system that made about 650 HP was my favorite and I had a few Land Cruisers that were really good with a SBC .

The plan is to get the 331 Hemi in either my 30 ford PU that will be fenderless nad channeled or a 27 roadster ( Fiberglass speedway kit type deal ) .
I'm having a hard time justifying a engine that weighs like 200 pounds morev tonly makes about 180 HP VS the 400 HP the SBC was going to use other than it will look cool and I can say its got a Hemi.

Id like to put a old caddy engine in something some day may a 23T PU

In the late 60's and early 70's, my dad ran a shop out of our converted barn where we did cheap paint jobs, valve grinding and engine swaps. We did an amazing amount of work in that old shop. Dad bought a Hollander interchange manual (he called it the "Dutchman") and it was really useful in helping figure out what parts would interchange between various makes and models.

Yep! My copy is well worn since I first bought it new in the 70's!

I'm still pretty stuck on the hum drum SBC or BBC swaps myself. SBC engines in both of my rods. Austin was a 20HP flathead four, and now a well built 355 SBC.

My '39 Chev was once a 216 six, and now a late model full roller 355 SBC.

My '63 Falcon was a 170 six, I replaced it with a pretty radical 468 BBC.
