I cherish my original Roth Models, and would never part with them, but my favorite is the Lil' Coffin, cause it was the first one I ever built! Plan on getting another one and doing it right...this time, hahaha! I bought all the re-issue Roth models and plan on building them some day.

I like this thread. I always liked the AMT 1/25 scales the best. the 3 in 1 56 ford, 49 merc, and the 32 5 window.

  9. Pro Street. I can't believe how dead on that 1:1 scale A truck is to the kit.
really a great looking rod of a neato kit. Neato. That dates me.

  10. Mazooma, I HATE YOU! Your just trying to rub your collection in my face aren't you!!?? You...... you.......... you model collector!
Anyway, my little brother Bobby Desmond wrote his name on the top box in his collection, he said I could have them when he left home, when can I come around and pick them all up?

The Hawk streamliner kits, well 4 of them were released about 10 years ago by Testors, I have been chasing them for years but still haven't found any!

Well, as for the question that sparked all this?
    My Favorites?
    The Orange Crate,
The Tony Nancy two car kit,
Mickey Ts Challenger and Attempt 1 car.
    Revell's,
    Anglia and Thames van,
    41 Willy's,
aww, man pretty much all of them!

    Doc.

Mazooma, thanks for the walk down memory lane. I guess my favorites were Monograms' Sizzler dragster, followed by the AMT double "T" kit and the Double Dragster. I remember building many of the ones you have pictured. I also remember not having much use for anything from the Lindberg line. Even as a kid I thought the details on them ****ed.

My all time favorite was the Revell "ROTAR" of big Daddy Roth.

Great collection Mazooma. I remember building those Aurora and Lindberg 1/32 models as a kid. I got $1.50 allowance a week and I could by 2 of those, with change left over for a 20 cent jar of Pactra paint! One of the first "big" models I bought was a Blue Beetle (a staggereing $2.49!) and I've had a soft spot for A pickups ever since.
    Love that old box art.

Thanks for the pics Mazooma. I hadn't seen some of those kits since I built them as a kid. Most of my models from then were gone when I got home from the service. Sure was fun building them though.
