It's a mixed lot. Usually a little of everything there. I haven't been for a year or 2 because we are usually racing but we're not this weekend so I'm going!

Not huge, but usually big enough to take a lot of time walking through everything in a day.

The ringling brothers of all shows is Hershey Always the first week of october I think 7.8 .9 .Might even start on the 6 th But Ill be there for 3 days ,Not selling just looking and hopefully buying .

Best I've been to? LARS 2009 in Pomona. Loved Long Beach and Pomona's regular, almost monthly swap when I lived in Socal. Went to Portland a few times, that was very good. Best local? Red Deer, AB hosts the biggest and best in the area once a year, usually the first weekend in May.

Okay since it’s getting closer to the new year and I’m going to be going back to the swap meets I wanted to bump an old thread to see what the current favorites are and if you know of any coming up then please let us know.

I love Pet*** Jean and the one put on by the Model T club in St. Louis on Sunday by the river in the early spring. And the one in Indy at the state fairgrounds outside of town.

Does anyone know if they are doing the Cape Gerardo Mo swap meet in January or February this year? If so when and where, this is another must go just because it’s cold as hell and usually the first meet of the year in the mid south

Cape Girardeau swap meet. Put on by the Capaha Car Club is always the Sunday after valentines day

You guys are the best! I’m used to having my dad to let me know what’s coming up and when we are leaving but when we lost mom and the Covid thing hit right after and took the rest of the family I have lost my swap meet partner in crime

I subscribe to Hemmings, Old Cars Weekly(now monthly), and member of several national clubs but they do not list all of them unless someone lets them know. So I’m relying on my HAMB family to keep me in the know

I have been to many swap meets across the USA over the last 55 years. If I could only go to one, it would be TURLOCK. It is the real deal. Antique auto parts, hot rod parts, no teddy bears , crying youngster dolls, miscellaneous non-car parts. and only a few late model parts. I took a couple of friends to Turlock about 7-8 years ago after hounding them about what they were missing. They now wish that they had gone to Turlock with me many years before. We filled 2 very big boxes at FEDEX to ship home using my FEDEX account. I only wish that I didn't have health problems, or I would happily go to Turlock again.

Turlock is at the top of my "Bucket List", 2024 will be 55 years in a row at Hershey.

My dad went to Hershey one year and he was blown away by the sheer size and the amount of parts that were there. I wish I would’ve went with him but I was just married and working like crazy, if I only knew then what I do now I would’ve been there come heck or high water
