Favorite year of the Cadi.

  1. I've owned a '52 Convertible (in 1960); a '57 Convertible (in 1963); a '59 4-door 'flattop' in (1965); and a '76 2-dr HT (in 1983)......

All were magnificent, great riding, trouble free automobiles.

I guess If I could have just one of them back right now, I'd take the '57 Convert.

  2. 60-62 does it for me.

Can't go wrong with an old Caddy. My favorites would be the '37 Series 90 coupe and '59 Biarritz.

Vintage Caddys are one marque where almost any year is good. That said, 1960 is my favorite & 1961, 62 my least favorite.

I had a 55 convertible back in the mid 70's as well as working on a family friend's 49 Sedanette that had aout 5000 original miles. So my votes got to those two.

I'm pretty much fantasizing about a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham these days, even though I own a really special 1961 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. I don't want a 1959 Eldorado Brougham, only the 1960, it is rare, sublime and beautiful, the most beautiful 4 door car ever built in my opinion.

I drove a dusty rose (dark pink) '57 Coupe deVille from 1984 to 1992. Loved that car.

Also like the '48-'49 fastbacks (I also had a '49 4 dr sedan)

I really loved my dad's big silver 1966 Coupe De Ville - I was very disappointed when he sold it. My Grandfather had a series of Cadillacs in the fifties - he bought a new one every two years - usually sedans - but I really liked his 1955 sedan.

I bought this 57 Coupe De Ville with about 63,000 miles on it in 1978 for $300 - should have kept it....

1957/58 Eldorado Biarritz coupe with brushed stainless steel roof and lower fender panels. One sat for years gathering dust in the underground parking garage of Preston Towers apartments in Dallas. Never found out who owned it. Sort of a desert rose color. Under all that dust it was gorgeous and bombshell sexy.

'64 I owned one for about five years. Drove it the last two years of High School. That car was a party on wheels. Very nice car on long trips too.
