i just dug out 2 sets of fe ford adjustable rockers out of my barn thinking i might sell them. i haven't looked at them in about 30 yrs. 2 of the 4 rockers look normal and 2 of the 4 have what appears to be an oil drain line cast in 1 of the inside stands at a 45 deg angle. 1 has a 1 1/4" long pipe in it and 1 has a screw in it to block oil flow.
i don't remember much about these. i don't see any like it on ebay; just rockers without anything in the stands.
i've attached pics. i hope they turn out ok.
has anyone seen this before. as i said before, they were cast in; not machined in later.
    thanks for any help, lenny

Yes - I've seen em before - the ones I had were cast iron though and someone had pinched closed the tubes......I questioned it at the time too and was told on the fe forum it was just a different design and they were fine to use

  3. I think those are the early solid-lifter 332 rockers ('58, early '59). The later hi-po adjustable rockers used cast iron stands. I was told by a FE guy that these were to bleed off 'excess' oil to hold down the amount of oil at the guides.
