FE Ford Experts gotta question

    Question for the FE guys...

    If I use a new style 184 tooth flywheel (post-65) so I can use a newer starter, can I still use the old bellhousing that used the old starter drive styled starter (pre-65). The reason, I want to use the old bellhousing is my ****** will not bolt up to the post-65 bellhousing. Thanks

    My 58 Edsel has the new style flywheel and the new starter, and the factory Trans, so i am guessing yes you can. But i didnt put it together.

    Thanks man...I think it should be fine, just a lot of extra room in the for the starter nose...
