Technical FE intake

    Hi guys can someone tell me what and where this port should go, please. Triple carb Edelbrock on a FE, cheers fe intake.jpg

    If that's at the back of the intake, that's where the draft tube would be attached on an FE (or on some later cars, it would be hooked to engine vacuum with a PCV valve in line somewhere).

  4. Yep, connection for the road draft plumbing. The early aftermarket intakes sometimes lacked baffling on those, make sure you have the OEM tin 'splash shield' in the lifter valley installed to prevent blowing excessive oil out of that... AMHIK... If you connect this to engine manifold vacuum, MAKE SURE you install a PCV valve in line. Failure to do can result in it drawing air/fuel mix into the crankcase which if it ignites can blow all the seals out, maybe even the oil pan/valve covers off...
