I need some advice from you FE guru's. I just bought a 65 Mercury Marauder. The Merc-O-Matic transmission is slipping, and the 390 has seen better days. I do have a 430 and a turbo drive auto out of a Lincoln that works perfectly. Does anyone know if the motor mounts are the same between the FE's and the MEL's? Is this a swap that requires a lot of modification, or are the two engines and transmissions close to being the same?
