Is there anyone who has adapted a gm style power steering pump onto an fe motor? It's on my Galaxie and the factory one needs rebuilt and looks like the bolts may break.

Check with rock auto. I don't think they are outrageous in price.

  4. call autozone and get the atsco contact number.. I have talked to tech a few times on psi and other things.. they are pretty easy to deal with...

Id keep the ford pump. There really good pumps and they used the same one on all kinds of cars all the way up to big trucks. …. Easy to find used and rarely need rebuilt. NAPA has seals and filters.
Theres even one on the old cat forklift were I work

Well the one that's on the car has shaft play and the bolts are rusty that hold it together. I have the rebuild kit.
