fe tri carb set ups...

    One thing to be aware of is the Tbird Tri-Power intake carb pads are flat and the other intake has normal angled carb pads. The reason is the engine in the Tbird is low and mounted flat to the road. Putting the Tbird intake on an engine in a Galaxie or similar will result in carbs angled to the rear and you'll never get the float bowl level right.

    i have no problem cutting the filter flange off..would you happen to know the part numbers on these types of carbs?

    Is that because they were designed with the 332s and 352s in mind, maybe?

    I can see how those wouldn't feed a 390 real well.

    Mangus: PM me. I've got about 12 Holley 2BBls extra and need only 9. So if you don't want a correct 350CFM Ford original Holley I may be able to help. All of my carbs are slated for the 4 FE 3X2's I have. One setup is all original with the correct Holley's. so 9 carbs extra.

    I'd trade for a good Holley List 1850 or 2 for my 2X4 setup.
