Projects Fear Commitment? It's Bed Time! Tin work in progress...

  1. That is looking good.
    Wish I would have looked at those but used the ones I did because the length was equal to the stock ones on this bed, it's either stude or mopar. I pie cut these about 3/4 inch at top tappering down about 8 inches. Here's a photo of the cut one on the right.

    just got through hammering a lip over a wooden buck around the wheel radius, added a little support and wont cut the tire now either

    Nicely done, on both counts! I looked at the photos first and missed the change. That's a mark of good work! The lip on the wheel well is something I will need to do when I notch the bed sides for axle travel. I still have the dummy shocks in place, so I can roll it around without bumping anything.

    Wow man that bed looks awesome! What did it cost you to make? And I super love what you did with the stake pockets, the stock shape has always bugged me but yours look so much better! Sweet.
