Thanks for all of your efforts. Keep up the good fight!

I don't really understand the whole hacker/spammer deal. What is their motive? Money? If so, how do they profit?

Damn...that's why I didn't get the Alliance discount when I bought my "Eztenz" pills. It was all a scam! It is cool to be on the "danger list" though.

It's a shame that we have to maintain constant vigilance for the friggin' weiners of the world who wish to do us all great harm. Thanks for all that you do Ryan, for keeping us insulated from the ever present threats.

If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.

    Keep up the fight Ryan

Glad it's all fixed now. I did read last week that there was a targeted hacking effort to bring down some big spam filter system in Europe by redirecting innocent net traffic through their servers. Maybe the problems here were part of that "attack?"

That's the worst thing about owning a website. We are always dealing with hackers and spammers on Midwestguntrader.com .Sometimes I have fantasies about catching the Russkies or Nigerians in the act and going Rambo on 'em.I'd rather spend my time figuring out ways to improve the site, rather than always protecting it and our users.Keep up the good work and hopefully the HAMB hardener I ordered works ;)

Another reason to use mozilla, not that it is always safe.

    Ryan and Staff,

Your awesome, when I noticed something was up and emailed you, you guys jumped on it and gave it a beat down, then cleaned up their mess and no one would know the difference today. That'll teach them hacker wimps to mess with hoodlums.

    Keep up the good work!

May I continue ***uming that Safari (without protection) is safe as safe gets, according to Apple claims? I've had nary a problem in the last two years since I went to the "Light Side"? Reason enough by itself to make the switch, IMHO.

    Ryan -

As a software engineer specializing in cyber security, I can sympathize with what you went through last week ... Thanks for your commitment to keep all of your Atomic Industry sites up & running ... and malware free!

PS: Just curious if one of the side-effects of the website cleaning (by "the wolf") was that all videos that have been posted in H.A.M.B. threads as EMBEDDED objects (vice YouTube video IDs wrapped in "YT" tags) are no longer displayed ... or did this happen a while back and I just didn't notice it?

HOTRODPRIMER - Is your post directed at me or Ryan? ... or just an attempt at an April Fools joke?

I think HRP is referring to the small pop-up that appears in the lower part of the YouTube video when it starts. It's a pop up/spam from YouTube, not from anyone here.
