Projects - So this is how it starts "T" RPUProjects
Two years ago I set out to rebuild a virgin 59a block and decided I should build something to put it in. So after years of swap meets and horse trades I've piled up enough parts to start a build from the ground up; probably the hard way but parts should look better on a truck rather than on the... -

Event Coverage - My photos from the Custom Car Revival 2025Event Coverage
The 2025 edition of the Custom Car Revival, the premier custom car event in the US, was another home run despite some initially rainy weather. Again there were a lot of truly amazing works of automotive art and great people as well. So without further ado, here are the... -

Event Coverage - Blues4U Photos of LARS 2025Event Coverage
OK, let's get this started. I finally got my photos uploaded to my computer so I could start going through them. I thought it was a good show, if not up to the level of the shows of the past, I had a great time. And I learned my lesson from last year and wore long sleeves and a broad hat all... -
Event Coverage - LA Roadster show 2025Event Coverage
Here is what I observed during my limited time, as I was running my swap spaces all weekend. Photos are from Strokers' open house as I arrived in town, dinner with Mad Fabricators, Lucky Burton, and friends, and finally at the show.

Projects - Ford FE 352 rebuildProjects
So I pulled the '66 (I think) 352 out of my '55 Merc (my avatar) for a few reasons- It leaked alot of oil so I'm replacing gaskets and seals, it was painted stupid colors, engine bay was nasty, and the four-on-the-floor was stuck in 3rd gear.
And I was also very curious to know if it had ever... -

Projects - Scott's Build Thread- '59 Apache 3100Projects
I have had my '59 for a few years now, and I've grown completely stagnant. I was "hot to go" when I got it, completed some engine work and rewired the whole thing. I came to a stop because progressing meant spending significant money, and I just didn't have it, so it got parked. In the meantime,... -
Customs - 1956 Chrysler New Yorker Custom That’s Been 30 Years in the MakingCustoms
Hey everyone,
Thought I’d share the story behind my family’s 1956 Chrysler New Yorker — a project that’s been part of our lives for over 30 years.
My brother actually started the build, mainly handling the mechanical work and getting it on the road. After he broke his neck in a pool accident,... -
Hot Rods - Life reflecting projectHot Rods
The last few years or so have been rather bad on a personal level. I got a divorce and needed to relocate, lost a few friends due to how life works, including one friend taking his own life, losing my home due to a fire, and just a rough time. One friend ended up relocating to Oklahoma, and... -

Hot Rods - One Neat Pile - Shoebox FordHot Rods
Hey HAMBr's, remember all those parts you sold me over the past 9 months or so? Well here they are assembled into one neat pile. An air cleaner from IN, exhaust manifolds from MD, gauges from......the list goes on and on......hell, even the car was for sale on here at one point. It takes a... -
Technical - How nice was your first hot rod projectTechnical
Hi all,
I’m not sure if this belongs here or the general discussion, but I was wondering how nice was your first hot rod project? I am very close to being able to drive my “survivor” (barely) hot rod for the first time, and procrastinating on it I figured I would ask the HAMB. When I got my car... -
Projects - 1929 Ford RoadsterProjects
So, this just happened.
A 1929 roadster found its way home to my garage.
Pretty solid car, came from Texas to Sweden in 2021.
Then in 2022 a friend of mine bought it and today I bought it from him.
My plan is fenderless, body brush painted black and I will most likely keep the 4-banger for now.... -

Hot Rods - Building my first roadster in Kansas CityHot Rods
“The story teller”
A playful nod to @J.Ukrop I've decided to start a thread on this build.
I’ve had a little t roadster bouncing around in my head that I’ve always reasoned myself out of for about 23 years. For a long while every October was the time of year I fixated on it....
