Hello fellas. Does anyone have experience/ info on enlarging the lifter bores to fit Chrysler lifters? What tool/ tools did you use and any pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Hance
Hance, Have done this with a reamer and a Bridgeport mill There are two sizes, ream with either .625 or .633 Do not run the smaller lifter in the larger bore, had one come in that way, a mess. John
Checking in for December, January and February. December Flabob Airport Drags was a blast & January Flaming Gorge Resort Snow Rally was too. Flabob Airport was a great venue, not sure I will make the April meet with my car yet.
Checking in. not much news from me - I took the coupe on the River City coupe and Roadster Club Reliability Run this past weekend. 100 mile run after a 40 minute drive to get there in temperatures approaching 90-95 degrees F. The coupe performed flawlessly
Checking in, nothing to report so here's some pics from my timing gear failure and resurrection at the Red Dust Revival last September
Yes, I communicated with him late last year, to see what was up with him. He had a job duty change which has been more challenging for him and he has taken on a model train layout in his spare time. He is good, life priorities has just taken a shift in direction. I miss his interactions too Thinking he is probably freezing his butt off in Cheyanne at the moment as well....
Just throwing it out.... I am looking for an original 2 carb intake for an improved Cragar OHV...before I start making one. Thanks!
Check'n in. I did some driving instruction at Buttonwillow Raceway Park a couple of weeks ago! Great fun! s
Checking in! Started disassembling the water pump @noboD sent me. I'll be grabbing this Parker side drive setup this weekend at GNRS!
Hey Brian, H&H is going to whip up a super touring banger block with a Dan Price head for me and hopefully I’ll be ready to roll by the time the snow melts here in Maine.
What a cool Engine! what is the bottom end like? 3 or 5 main? Looks similar to am A/B? My boss has a full HAL that he has set aside for a vintage road/race car, but it needs a full rebuild. I'll try & get a pic next week.
This is a full HAL motor, 5 mains and billet crank. This one is 4.25 stroke, I think there is enough room to go 4.7 stroke. I am looking for one of the Indy versions, 255 or 270 cid. John
