Shit Jerry, after I talked to you on Sat., I remembered I'm getting my shoulder replaced sometime in Feb. but I'll make it to the diner somehow. Had a meeting at the museum tonight and all set for Feb. 26th with $5.00 group rate. Can't miss having scrapple.

Looks like you're gonna have a good turnout. Sorry I can't make it. Last time, it was fun. The museum has some interesting stuff. But if the Barris kustom is still there, I recommend that you don't look at it after eating scrapple!

This was in today's Allentown paper (aside from the gas explosion)..."See more than a dozen of the fastest 1/4 mile speedsters that once raced on the drag strips in the Lehigh Valley at the new special exhibit at America on Wheels museum in Allentown. It pays tribute to the drag racing era in the 50's & 60's when the Lehigh Valley Timing Assn. organized drag races at Queen City Airport (in Allentown) & Vargo Dragway in Perkcasie. You'll see the Cooper Speed Shop car, once owned by Quakertown racer Louie Lang, as well as a 40's Wiilys coupe that won the NHRA title. You will aslo see Jungle Jim Lieberman's high powered Chevy Vegas that raced in Las Vegas, as well as a mid-80's jet-fuled Corvette."

Sounds like fun if the scrapple agrees with ya!

  26. Err, I wouldn't unless you pee on fire hydrants. I tried it twice - first & last time. Drop the "s" and the taste is close.

    Ahhh , c'mon ... it's not THAT bad !
I eat it all the time & haven't peed on any hydrants yet - oh wait , there was that one time , but there was beer & a bet involved :D .
The best scrapple I've had was elk scrapple - very tastey stuff !

I'm planning to attend even though the '48 is still in pieces. Any secret handshake or other codes needed at the diner or at the museum?
