Anyone interested in racing a slingshot or nostalgia altered once a month at Tulsa Raceway Park, please contact me. The Outlaw G***ser ***ociation is in charge of the nostalgia racing now (at Tulsa). If we let them know we are interested, I think they will find room for something other than door slammers.

Good. You can PM me your contact info and/or contact the Outlaw G***er ***ociation yourself. outlawg***ers.webs.com

They want to pre-approve each of the cars, so they all are truely nostalgic. I'm sure yours is fine. I know some of them are HAMBER's, so they should be cool.

  5. with Tulsa's recent move to NHRA, what does that mean in terms of cages/safety? Just how nostalgic a ride can be run?

    3 point cage?
    push start?
    reverse?

Ch***is certification day is March 6th. Time to get ready. Mine was certified to 7.50 years ago, that's expired, so I'm concerned. I just joined NHRA, so I'll see about posting some of there rules here.

The Nostalgia program at TRP is now run by the Outlaw G***er ***ociation. I am working with them to add a FED/Alt cl*** to their events at TRP. Here's their current schedule:

    April 24 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #1
    May -- Open
    June 5 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #2
    July 10 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #3
    August 14 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #4
    Sept. 25 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #5 (Nitro Nationals)

They are a new group out of Tulsa and currently run early-style g***sers (and welcome new members). outlawg***ers.webs.com I contacted them about adding dragsters. They have left it to me to get the word out and let them know who is interested. I need to send them info and photos of each potential entry. They have to pre-approve of all race cars. They must look nostalgic, not modern. After they approve the cars, we can work out details on the racing (such as heads-up or index).

I've been trying several angles to get the word out. Here's an NHRA Quick Reference Guide.

I know there are several nostalgic dragsters in North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Kansas, SW Missouri. I'm not sure how to contact them.

I just got word from the G***ers. We have a FED/Altered Cl*** this season. Now we need cars to fill it.

Anyone who entered the dragster cl***, at the 2009 HAMB Drags, Tulsa Nitro Nationals, or the AHRA Reunion, please contact me.

I tested the Gold Digger last Friday. Ran a 9.02, but had cooling problems. Will try to fix that today.

Monthly Nostalgia FED/Alt series starts May 1st. Tulsa Raceway Park.

Be there! Be there! Be there!
