FWIW, I have plumbed 2 cars with a rear proportioning valve like your last diagram, and neither one ended up needing them! After test driving in several conditions, the system liked the valve adjusted at wide open. It's easy enough to add one after the test drives if needed. I like simple, My latest, I'm skipping it until a proven need arises. YMMV.

That’s a lot of leverage on the end of that brake pedal mount. Hope you will have a connector from the sticky-out end to something strong like the firewall.

Adjusting typical proportioning valves "wide open" normally does not byp*** the valve, but simply raises the operational pressure (or crack point) to around 1200 psi, so the prop valve will still work, but at a higher pressure. It's better to have the ability to tame aggressive rear axle braking by simply turning a knob if and when the need arises.

It makes you wonder what a lot of these builds are going to do in a panic stop. I found a large parking lot and made a bunch of 30, 40, and even 50 mph panic stops while adjusting the brake proportioning valve on my truck. I want to know what its going to do if the need comes up!

I forgot to take pictures of the completed unit on the vehicle. We do add a little more support as needed.
