Hey fellas, I need your help again. The bottoms of my fenders are bent in for some weird reason. It almost looks like the previous owner accidentally ran over something and pushed in the bottoms of both front fenters. I have found a guy parting out a 52 ford, but dont know if these fenders will fit on my 54. They look to be in pretty decent shape ( a lot better than mine). Also, will the hood fit as well? mine is pulled up in the back p***enger corner (also not my doing). Thanks for the help fellas!

Oh hell, I forgot about the grill part being different on the 52s.... I can get the whole body for 500 though. Could do a full front clip. And get better doors too...

*edit* the damn top has been cut off.... They tried to fit this car over a 2005 dodge dakota. But the dakota is 1 inch wider than the 52 so its not fitting right.... Here is the link http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/pts/2607075001.html

If the hood hinges are good you know they are worth some $$$ 52-54 hinges and hoods interchange, the fenders will not with out alterations to the bottom mounting points.Reason being in '54 when Ford went to IFS from kingpin suspension that made the changes,it is possible to redrill some mounting holes if you can use the '54 inner fender panels that may make it somewhat easier.

Jeff, I dont want to go thru all that h***le. Thats a lot of front end work to do for no reason at all. Besides, I like the 54 grill better than the 52. So I am just gonna try to get the hood and hinges. The deck lid he has has already been shaved too, so maybe I will take that as well. We'll see. He told me I could come take any parts I need for a set price, but he keeps the ***le. Anybody need anything?

It's a shame someone butchered that car up like that ! Should be shot .
I wouldn't pay $500 for that mess . Like you said , too much work for what's there . They really ruined that car when someone cut the top off !He will have a hard time selling it all the way it is . I would just but the parts you need and leave the rest for someone else .

Knucks, are you talking about the area in front of or behind the wheels where the bottoms were pushed in? Behind my wheels on each side there is an area that looks like what you are mentioning- I always wondered if it was supposed to look that way. If you could post a pic I would love to see.

I was going to post asking about this on my car- not sure it is the same thing that you are looking at...
