    That picture ya see there of the side shot of my 35 was takin a year ago and it was not ready to hit the road, and lots of work was still needed to be done to it..
    and it has a torque tube....
    hopefully I will have it running in a few months..

  3. It's been together for a couple of years, hasn't it? Maybe that can answer the chasis questions / concerns from earlier.

    Hi there, this is my current ride...1940 ford pickup chopped, channelled, shortened, z'd, used to be one lady owner (thanks for selling it Julie:)
    Plans to rebuild it over the next year, so also looking for some ideas

    Here's mine... fresh out of the garage and built in less than 90 days of evenings and weekends>>

    chassis and drive train from a 55 studebaker that no one would buy
    32 ford cab came from a field and was missing the floor and firewall
    the 65 buick wheels cam from the studebaker
    the white stripes must and will go...
    still has 4.5 inches of clearance at the lowest point with the driver

    Cool use of vintage stuff that would have likely ended up in a load of scrap headin to China! I would drive it:)
