Hey all, I acquired this fenton 3x2 from an early 283. Made for Does anyone know much about them. It’s in good shape, but does need a few holes repaired. I noticed the back hole in the front carb mount is drilled and tapped into the intake runner. Anyone have any info? It almost looks like it was done like that from the factory but it doesn’t make sense.

Way better than an Offenhauser. Its drilled for early Ford carbs but could be plugged and made to use with Rochester 2GC’s which would make it more valuable in my opinion. Any hole drilled in a runner would be for some vacuum device. A PCV system is better under the center carb if doing one.
The 2 holes near the rear carb could have been a coil mount.
