Fenton Hawks-thing of legend or garage art??

My Dad ran a set on his '64 Chevelle as a teenager in the late-'60s. He ran cheater slicks in the rear. Car ran a six-cylinder. Had rolls and pleats put in the interior; he thinks the buckets came from a Corvair. He converted it from a column-shift to 3-on-the-floor. "That was a job," he said. He's very mechanically gifted.
