fenton headers

Has anyone installed fenton cast iron headers on a flathead v8 in a Model A ch***is. Will they fit? Thanks.

 

I have them in my model A with 32 rails, it is real ***e on one side.

 

Thanks for the reply 8-track. Which side is tight drivers or p***enger? I am going to be using Model A rails. I wonder if they are narrower? thanks again.

by the way did you have to cut the firewall to get the flathead in?

I recently loaned a set of fentons to a guy that has a 29 roadster AV8 to try on for size. This car was built fairly close to the spec's in the Tardel book and used a F1 steering box. P***enger side fit, drivers side didnt. Not enough room to clear the steering box....

Your results may differ...

The starter side is a 1/4 inch from the boxing plate, the firewall is not cut out, fits nice and snug.
